Thank you for visiting GET Ready!, home of Predeparture Training at the University of Western Ontario's Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry! This conference is designed for students planning to travel to resource-limited settings through international electives, research placements, or any other programs at home or abroad.

The day features seminars from numerous world-travelled speakers covering 5 essential topics considered must-knows by the Canadian Federation of Medical Students (CFMS) and the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC) for anyone travelling to a resource-limited setting, and equally useful for casual travellers looking for useful experience. Participants will also be able to get their hands dirty working through some global health issues in facilitated focus groups.
