GEORGE CALLAHAN FOUNDATION

Brief Summary:
The George Callahan Foundation is an organization that attempts to assist medical students who have exhausted many other means of support and still find themselves in serious financial difficulty.

Who is Eligible:
Medical students with financial need can submit a letter outlining these needs.

Amount of Award: Based on need.

Deadline: Completed applications should be dropped off at the Office of Admissions and Student Affairs by Friday December 19th at the latest. They will submit all applications received on your behalf.

The Application:
In order to apply, students should:
1) Write a letter outlining their financial needs
2) Supply a letter of support from the Dean's office -- this is a letter of "good standing" which the Student Affairs office can provide for you at your request. You can request this by dropping into Kresge Room 1 or sending Darla McNeil an email at darla.mcneil@schulich.uwo.ca.
3) Complete a "Callahan Bursary Fund Application Form".
