IHI 2009 needs your help. This year we plan to raise $24,000 to fund our mission in India. Learn about how you can help here.
The India Health Initiative is a 100% student-run registered charity in the in the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario. Therefore, we rely entirely on your generosity to reach our goal. Donations collected provide the necessary financing for continuing projects including supplying, educating, studying, and providing medical support for healthcare NGOs in India. For this year’s mission, and to sustain the longevity of our initiative, our aim is to raise at least $24,000.

IHI stands by its mission to continually support the NGOs that most need our help in providing healthcare for the impoverished in India. This year the IHI2009 team has decided to prioritize donations to directly go to supported NGOs. If funds are remaining, they will be used to assist with subsidizing tranportation expenses incurred by the team as it travels to the sites to provide necessary support and assessment services.
How You Can Help
Our continued activites depend entirely on your support. Although most our requirements are met through monetary donations , we also welcome your assistance in finding resources for our fundraising events such as our Evening in India Gala, medical supplies, and educational materials. If you are able to lend any support to our cause or have any questions please contact us by email at indiahealth@gmail.com.

Donations can be made either online or by cash/cheque. All donations over $20 qualify for a tax receipt. If you wish to donate by any other means, please email us at indiahealth@gmail.com.
