Hey gang,

The 2014 class charity, the Canadian Mental Health Association is competing for a grant through the Pepsi Refresh Project. The goal of this program is to provide earlier access to counselling for individuals on the CMHA waitlist. Due to massive underfunding in community mental health the wait times for some CMHA programs are upwards of a year. During this wait these individuals are left with very little support and their mental health often further deteriorates. The program will also serve as a valuable training experience for clinical psychology students that have an interest in treating mental illness and they will work under the supervision of a clinical psychologist.

The Pepsi refresh program allows you to vote once every day. We are currently in 21st place but with your support landing one of the grants (given to the ideas with the top 3 votes) is certainly possible.
