Parkinson’s Disease Student Fellows

Location: Canada

Summer student fellowships support high school seniors, undergraduates, and medical students in the pursuit of Parkinson's-related summer research projects.

Opportunity Dates:

Typically fellowships are offered for 10 weeks of laboratory work under a sponsor who oversees the project.

Eligibility:

All medical students are eligible.

Stipend (or fee if applicable):

The maximum award for summer student fellows is $3,000

Application Information:

An acceptable application will consist of the following:
1. An application.
2. A letter signed by the investigator under whom the applicant plans to work, stating that he or she will make facilities available to the student and will guide the student’s work.
3. A letter signed by the applicant giving a complete description of the work to be undertaken, the name of the school, and the date the work is to commence.
4. These three items, collated and in order as set forth above, constitute an application. Incorrect or incomplete applications will be returned without comment.
